Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha elevates us further beyond rituals towards Supreme Knowledge, re-emphasizing the indispendible role of a resolute intelligence, before taking us through the next crucial verse in Bhagavad Gita, 2.45.
Rituals only deal with the perishable world of trigunas (three modes of nature - sattva, rajas, tamas), which we are already immersed in. There can be no promotion to the next level unless we rise above these rituals, remain indifferent to the trigunas and pairs of opposites, and anchor ourselves to the eternal, imperishable Self, the I.
Living and breathing every word of our eternal scriptures, Swamiji brings us closer to realizing that the whole world is nothing but the pure, unfragmented Soul, to free us from the delusion of differentiation once and for all.
Verses explained by Swamiji - Bhagavad Gita 2.41, 2.44, 2.45, 2.46, 2.47
