This is a three-day discourse series delivered by Poojya Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha in New Delhi.
Swamiji begins with a deep analysis of the composite inner personality of man. This exposition opens up new avenues of thought and introspection for a discerning listener.
Swamiji defines meditation as “abiding in the middle presence”. Mind is the source of numerous thoughts. The arising and cessation of thoughts can be distinguished only by the neutral middle presence which is referred to as ‘I’. Sitting in solitude, plunging deep inside and unravelling the inner process is the purpose of Meditation.
Swamiji exhorts us not to be enmeshed in external perceptions and activities. ‘I’ is the centre of all perceptions and activities and meditation is meant to unearth this inner splendour. Try to get a glimpse of the uncontaminated, unbounded Soul. Meditation is the only way to understand its secret, says Swamiji.
