Swamiji's Annual Visit to Malaysia (August - September) SIRD organizes the visit and stay of Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha along with Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha and Ma Gurupriya, who accompany Swamiji on his visits to Malaysia. Programmes during Swamiji’s visit: - Annual Jnaana Yajna – a series of 4-day discourse on themes based on the Bhagavad Gita. Each day’s talk is one hour duration. These talks are held at the Sithi Vinayagar Temple hall, Petaling Jaya city.
- Jnana Yajna in Seremban - a series of 3-day discourse is conducted in Seremban, a town situated about 45 minutes drive away from SIRD.
- Satsangs - Satsangs held at SIRD are opportunities for seekers to have close interaction with Poojya Swamiji and have their doubts cleared.
- Scriptural classes - Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha and Ma Gurupriya conduct Upanishad classes. For the first time a 10-day class on Kathopanishad was held in 2006 and this attracted a large number of seekers. Many took time off from work in the mornings to attend the classes which was scheduled between 9.30 - 10.30 am daily.
- Talks at other Centres - Swamiji is invited by different organizations to hold talks at their premises. Each year Swamiji is invited to talk at the Divine Life Society, Batu Caves; Swamiji had also been invited to speak by Sri Murugan Centre, Guru Dharma Society, Lakshmi Nayaran Temple, Gita ashram and Sri Ramakrishna Sarada Sangha during previous visits.
Swamiji's Jayanthi Day (13th May) SIRD conducts a special programme on the occasion of Swamiji’s birthday. Gurupoornima (July) Special satsang is held on Gurupoornima at SIRD every year.
